Dear Editor, Amelanotic/hypomelanotic melanoma (AHM) is a subtype of melanoma including ones with little or no melanin pigmentation – amelanotic melanoma (AM). It represents 2–8% of all melanomas.1,2 AM may be difficult to diagnose because of lack of pigmentation and presence of symmetry.
