BACKGROUND: Cardiotoxicity remains an important adverse reaction of chemotherapy used in the treatment of breast cancer, leading to increased morbidity and mortality. DATA SOURCES: Anthracyclines, taxanes, and trastuzumab are the most commonly used cytotoxic drugs for the treatment of breast cancer.
