We report two Caucasian families with systemic sclerosis and other connective tissue and immunological disorders, including rheumatoid arthritis, discoid lupus erythematosus, psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, ulcerative colitis, asthma, Sjögren's syndrome, Raynaud's phenomenon and thyroid disease.
