Calcific aortic valve disease (CAVD) is a progressive pathological condition with no effective pharmacological therapy. To identify novel molecular pathways as potential targets for pharmacotherapy, we studied microRNA (miRNA) profiles of heavily stenotic aortic valves (AS).
