Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is the most frequent and aggressive brain tumor, and which harbors not only rapidly dividing cells but also small populations of slowly dividing and dormant cells with tumorigenesity-, self-renewal-, and multi-lineage differentiation capabilities.
