Endosomal trafficking is a key mechanism to modulate signal propagation and cross talk. Ubiquitin adaptors, along with endosomal sorting complex required for transport (ESCRT) complexes, are also integrated to terminate ligand-receptor activation in late endosomes and multivesicular bodies (MVBs).
