Single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) are essential to the understanding of population genetic variation and diversity. Here, we performed restriction-site-associated DNA sequencing (RAD-seq) on 72 individuals from 13 Chinese indigenous and three introduced chicken breeds.
