OBJECTIVE: To investigate the association of interferon (IFN) γ gene polymorphisms and risk and prognosis of HPV cervical infection. METHODS: PCR-ASP was used for detecting IFN-γ rs2430561 polymorphism in 179 HPV positive patients and 328 HPV negative normal controls.
