We present the case of a 32-year-old woman with an intrathyroidal paraganglioma. Sequences of the nicotinamide NNMT (N-methyl transferase) gene at the PGL1 locus in intrathyroidal paraganglioma showed a heterozygous single nucleotide polymorphism and extragenic mutation.
