The relation of cytoplasmic microtubules to intracellular transport was studied in temperature-sensitive (ts) secretory mutants of Saccharomyces cerevisiae at permissive and nonpermissive temperature using indirect immunofluorescence with monoclonal antibody TU-01 against alpha-tubulin.
