PREMISE OF THE STUDY: Microsatellite makers were developed for Clematoclethra scandens to investigate its population genetics and speciation. METHODS AND RESULTS: A total of 36 microsatellite markers were isolated using the Fast Isolation by AFLP of Sequences COntaining repeats (FIASCO) method.
