PURPOSE OF REVIEW: This review seeks to describe the emerging clinical trial data that informs clinical practice with regards to dual antiplatelet therapy. RECENT FINDINGS: Recent evidence with vorapaxar has demonstrated an increase in bleeding events with only modest improvement in ischemic outcomes.
