Studies on preparation, regeneration and ultraviolet-mutagenesis of protoplasts of vitamin B2 producer Eremothecium aohbyii were reported. By using a complex enzyme system (0.5% snial digestase + 0.5% cellulase), a great number of protoplasts were obtained. Ultraviolet-mutagenesising positive mutation ratio is 14.29%.
