Embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma (ERMS) is the most common childhood sarcoma and is a component of the familial pleuropulmonary blastoma (PPB)-predisposition syndrome. Using the PPB model, we hypothesized that DICER1 mutations would be found in familial and sporadic forms of ERMS.
