In CBA mice immunized with the sheep red blood cells (5 x 10(8)), the section of the pituitary stalk prevented the changes in the immune response caused with drugs affecting the activity of GABA-ergic system. Activating effect of the benzodiazepine receptor agonist diazepam, and inhibitory effect of bicucullin on the immune response were not manifest in animals after the lesion of the hypothalamo-pituitary stalk....
