Patients with B-chronic lymphocytic leukemia present diverse clinical features, genetic abnormalities, variable response to treatment, and heterogeneous prognosis. Novel biological markers such as IgVH mutation, CD38, and ZAP-70 expression have shown to offer important prognostic information.
