Phosphatidyl-inositol-3 kinases (PI3Ks) constitute a family of intracellular lipid kinases that are frequently hyperactivated in glioblastoma. The PI3K complex links growth factor signaling with cellular proliferation, differentiation, metabolism, and survival.
