Sjögren's syndrome (SS) is a chronic autoimmune disorder characterized by lymphocytic infiltration of the salivary and lacrimal glands. These patients have a markedly increased frequency of developing non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in their salivary glands and cervical lymph nodes.
