Ten genetically modified Maackia amurensis hemagglutinin (MAH) clones at the carbohydrate-recognition loop were found to bind glycophorin A and a mucin mimetic with NeuAcalpha2-3Galbeta1-3GalNAcalpha (monosialyl-T antigen) in different relative intensity.
