AIM: To evaluate the association between fetuin-A level (AHSG), its encoding gene (Thr256Ser) and arterial function in subjects with normal kidney function. INTRODUCTION: The aortic pulse wave velocity (aPWV) is a predictor for cardiovascular mortality.
