A novel psychrophilic basidiomycetous species is described in a new anamorphic genus as Mrakiella cryoconiti gen. nov., sp. nov.; the type strain of Mrakiella cryoconiti is strain A15(T) (=CBS 10834(T) =DSM 21094(T)).
