In order to characterize the effect of T lymphocytes on the in vitro growth of erythroid progenitor cells (EPC), we have optimized an assay for evaluating the influence of autologous T-lymphocyte clones on BFU-e, grown from PBMNCs depleted of T lymphocytes.
