The heterodimeric transporter associated with antigen processing (TAP) complex plays a key role in immune surveillance. TAP1 and TAP2 typing was usually performed by polymerase chain reaction (PCR)-restriction fragment length polymorphism and PCR-sequence-specific oligonucleotide probe.
