RATIONALE: Antipsychotic-induced extrapyramidal side effects (EPS) are still a major problem in the treatment of schizophrenia. Serotonin 2C receptors (5-HT(2C)) have regulatory effects on dopaminergic pathways in brain regions involved with EPS.
