Neurophysiological characteristics of mushroom body neurons were examined by electrophysiological methods in mutants snow(laranja) and wild-type honey bees. Mutation snow(laranja) causes a drastic decrease in the activity of enzyme tryptophane oxygenase that results in deficiency of all kynurenines.
