OBJECTIVES: To study genotypic variations among human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) gB genotypes in clinical samples of Thai patients. METHODS: gB genotyping of 31 HCMV-DNA-positive clinical samples were determined by PCR-RFLP, gene cloning and DNA sequencing methods.
