Several genetic risk factors such as single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) in candidate genes have been reported to be responsible for diabetic macroangiopathy. We determined their genotypes regarding more than 100 SNPs in candidate genes responsible for average IMT of Japanese type 2 diabetic patients.
