Four mutants of the cyclohexanone monooxygenase (CHMO) evolved as catalysts for Baeyer-Villiger oxidation of 4-hydroxycyclohexanone were investigated as catalysts for a variety of 4-substituted and 4,4-disubstituted cyclohexanones.
