BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE: The 2-propyl-1,4 benzoxazine (AM10) shows a peculiar behaviour in skeletal muscle, inhibiting or opening the ATP-sensitive K(+) (KATP) channel in the absence and presence of ATP, respectively.
