BACKGROUND: Human ABO-secretor locus (FUT2) is highly polymorphic in many human populations. STUDY DESIGN AND METHODS: The applicability of denaturing high-performance liquid chromatography (DHPLC) analysis was evaluated for genotyping the FUT2 in two Sri Lankan populations (Tamil and Sinhalese).
