Reports have reappraised the genotype-dependent variation of Thrombin Activatable Fibrinolysis Inhibitor (TAFI), demonstrating that, in some enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA), decreased antibody reactivity towards the TAFI 325 Ile isoform led to erroneous TAFI levels.
