This paper describes how the technique of surface plasmon resonance (SPR) can be utilized to follow (in real time) the attachment of Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteria on bare gold and gold modified with a self-assembled monolayer (SAM) of mercaptounadecanoic acid.
