The aim of this paper was to present the results of investigation of the high polymorphic HLA-DR locus by the PCR-SSP method. Genomic DNA was isolated from whole blood, tissue samples (muscles and brains). HLA-DR alleles were typed using the DYNAL DR "low resolution" SSP kit.
