Actin-related proteins (Arps) and conventional actin are enigmatic components of many chromatin-remodeling enzyme complexes. The yeast INO80 ATP-dependent chromatin-remodeling complex contains stoichiometric amounts of Arp4, Arp5, Arp8, and actin.
