AIMS/HYPOTHESIS: Study the influence of age, zygosity and birth weight on insulin action and insulin secretion in twins. METHODS: In vivo insulin action and insulin secretion were measured using the euglycaemic, hyperinsulinaemic clamp technique and intravenous glucose tolerance test, respectively.
