Human carboxypeptidase (CP) M was expressed in baculovirus-infected insect cells in a glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored form, whereas a truncated form, lacking the putative signal sequence for glycosylphosphatidylinositol anchoring, was secreted at high levels into the medium.
