A technique of rhyanodinreceptor gene (RYRI) typing was improved and applied for diagnostics of porcine stress syndrome. Genetic population analysis with respect to RYRI gene in the pigs of various breeds was made. Maximal distribution of the RYRI T-allele was observed in the Poltava Meaty pig population.
