Clostridium perfringens isolated from lambs with dysentery (n=117) were analysed by a DNA amplification technique, the polymerase chain reaction (PCR), in order to determine the prevalence of the alpha-, beta-, beta 2-, epsilon-, iota- and enterotoxin genes.
