Multidrug-resistance 1 (MDR1) encodes a 170 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein (P-glycoprotein), which acts as a drug-efflux pump. In the present study, we analyzed the expression of MDR1/P-glycoprotein in human pancreatic cancer and correlated the results with clinical parameters.
