Here we have studied the genetic diversity of Helicobacter pylori strains recovered from 64 individual patients, 5 family members and 13 unsuccessfully treated patients. The recovered bacteria were finger-printed by the PCR-RFLP and RAPD methods and virulence associated loci (cagPAI, vacA) were PCR studied. Unique differentiation of every independently isolated strain from not-related persons was possible by RAPD...
