OBJECTIVES: To determine the clinical efficacy of the HIV-1 protease inhibitor indinavir (IDV) in saquinavir (SQV)-experienced patients and delineate the developing drug-resistance patterns. DESIGN: Open-label prospective clinical trial. SETTING: University hospital research center.
