Anthracnose fruit rot caused by Colletotrichum spp. is a serious post-harvest disease of chili fruits (Capsicum spp.). One hundred-thirty isolates of Colletotrichum spp. were isolated from anthracnose of green and red cayenne pepper (Capsicum annuum) and bird’s eye chili (Capsicum frutescens).
