<h4>Background: </h4> Extraskeletal myxoid chondrosarcoma (EMC) is a rare malignant mesenchymal neoplasm of uncertain differentiation. Despite its name, this tumor type has no relationship to cartilage. Most tumors arise in deep soft tissue of the proximal extremities and limb girdles.
