<h4>Background: </h4> Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and other types of progressive fibrotic interstitial lung diseases (non-IPF-PF), such as chronic hypersensitivity pneumonitis (cHP), systemic sclerosis (SSc), non-specific interstitial pneumonia (NSIP), and sarcoidosis, are common interstitial lung diseases.
