Treatment with mycelial extracts, prepared from liquid cultures of Bipolaris oryzae, Pythium ultimum and Rhizopus stolonifer, protected barley (Hordeum vulgare) against powdery mildew disease caused by the fungus Blumeria graminis f.sp. hordei.
