Bacteria isolated from the rhizosphere of sorghum in Ethiopia and from different grass species within the Nylsvlei Nature Reserve in South Africa were evaluated for their in-vitro and in-vivo antagonistic activity against Pythium ultimum that causes root rot in sorghum.
