The incidence of early prostate cancer (PCa) has increased rapidly in recent years. The majority of newly diagnosed PCa are in early tumor phase. Presently, we do not have adequate biomarkers to assess tumor aggressiveness in individual cases. Consequently, too many patients are given curatively intended treatment.
