The tea plant (Camellia sinensis) is grown on a large scale, reaching 350,000 hm² of cultivated land in 2017, in Guizhou Province of China. Foliar diseases negatively affect the yield and quality of tea leaves. In November 2018, leaf spots were observed in Dushan County, Guizhou Province.
