Isolates of Fusarium oxysporum f.sp elaedis from Zaire and Brazil and F. oxysporum from Malaysia were characterized by DNA restriction fragment length polymorphisms (RFLPs), pathogenicity and for vegetative compatibility as determined by nitrate non-utilizing (nit) mutants.
