In most cases, spontaneous intracerebral haemorrhage (ICH) is thought to result from cerebral small vessel diseases (SVDs). Cerebral amyloid angiopathy (CAA) and arteriolosclerosis (non-CAA SVD) are the two main types of SVD associated with ICH.
